"Two couples traveling to Sicily for first time, we found the “in”spot to stay in Palermo. Literally across the street from the beautiful Massimo Theater that is the starting point for action in several tour books, the hotel offered excellen staff (although these are apartment hotel rooms and staff only physically there a few hours a day), good sized clean room, and terrific location to see the heart of Zplaermo. Rooftop dinner at Doba with great meal and view to die for. The negatives: 1. Literally in the heart of the action and with (yum!) an international gelato festival going on 30 yards away, hectic and noisy- luckily shutters on windows kept out most noise. Fun but busy. 2.Difficult driving in pedestrian-busy one way areas Overall, very much enjoyed. "

The area was great for walking, and there were high-end stores nearby. The staff was very friendly and always helpful. Rooftop dining had an excellent atmosphere and good service. "
