"The property is an easy drive from Florence , located in beautiful surroundings with the rolling hills of Tuscany all around. We were able to explore Siena & multiple small centuries old towns. A car is a must here to go anywhere including Impruneta.The lodging is ample size for a family of 4 or 5. Loved that Mattia has a washer available for laundry. Mattia was a great host , made wonderful suggestions on places to go & was super easy to work with. Would recommend. Teri W from KY USA"

"The house is picture perfect - and the views are absolutely stunning. As others have said, to get to it, you need to drive down a bit of bumpy dirt road (so having a SUV would be a wise choice), but once you get there l, the pure serenity and peacefulness of the Tuscan hills await you. Cons: • Internet/cell connectivity in village is poor and upon arrival, couldn’t connect with cell phone OR my portable wifi. "The best thing is the location, and the accommodations were good. Having read the reviews we knew what to expect and were not surprised. The downsides were mainly the six flights of stairs and the fact that the bathroom is shared. Antonio was accommodating and offered good advice about what to see and where to eat. A couple things that could be done easily to improve the stay for guests would be to provide some closet and/or drawer space and to have a clear place in the bathroom for a guest...

"Federica and Giuseppe were wonderful hosts - great communication throughout the stay and always available. The house was immaculate and well presented. The pool and facilities (swing, table tennis, football pitch etc) were superb. Views were incredible and the area was so peaceful. Highly recommend this villa for a restful break!"

"The location is amazing. House is surrounded by hills and valleys. Perfect view of Tuscany. Plenty of amenities. Very spacious and clean house. Stay is on the second floor so be prepared to carry the luggage. There are two bathrooms but only one shower. "Staff were great on reception. Property was neat and tidy and the park was all very clean and well maintained. Everything on site cost extra and a lot. For example half a loo roll provided and they wouldn’t replace and it cost €8 in their shop. Location was good just out of city and there is a bus stop right outside. Not properties fault of course, but buses very irregular so a lot of time spent waiting around for one to show up. Lovely walk into city along river though and took around 1hr."

"Great property! Of all the hotels we stayed in Italy, this hit all the check boxes. 5 minute walk from the train station, right next to plenty of shopping and dining options and walking distance to everything we wanted to see. Modern conveniences, wonderful shower, comfortable bed and kind staff. They also had an iron I was able to borrow which was very much appreciated. Definitely recommend! "

"From the moment we saw the hotel across the plaza to the moment we checked out and ran to our train, we loved the Grand Hotel Baglioni. The reception staff was wonderful! The gentlemen that helped us the most were Sr Bonarino who checked us in and gave us great transit advice for one of our unique stops, and Sr Francesco, who took our bags right up to our room for us and said hello to us each time we passed in the hallways. The room itself was marvelous! We will absolutely be returning to this establishment in the future. It is in a magnificent location, relatively close to everything downtown, safe, clean, beautiful, and friendly. The premises and staff surpassed our wildest dreams and gave us a very memorable stay in the already memorable Firenze."

"The staff at the hotel gave us a warm welcome as soon as we arrived and throughout our stay. Our room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay, including a private balcony overlooking the piazza.
