"The service was terrible: no hot water, not sufficient sheets for the number of beds…construction workers showing up at 8:00 am to work in the unit…of course, because there were broken things in the washroom and even holes in the walls…and the check-in process was a nightmare ( multiple calls and messages without response…). When we booked this place we assumed it was a hotel, it is not. We have been staying in hotels in several italian cities and this place was the worst by far."

Only complaints, as they may be important to some renters. 4th floor walkup is 80 stairs to unit. Could be too much for some. Would've thought there would be instant coffee. Some would want tea. It's not there. Otherwise a great stay. All in all, these are minor issues unless they are deal breakers for you. They weren't for us"

"Fabrizio is a great host and has a lovely apartment within easy, and safe, walking distance of the Metro. There's a couple of handy supermarkets nearby. The kitchen is well stocked and the apartment has everything that you need to have a comfortable stay. As others have mentioned, there is a train line behind the apartment, and a dog park in front, but really neither bothered us during our stay."

"Great apartment in a great location. There is a mini mart, bar and Gelato place next door. This is all very convenient and added to the over all enjoyment of our stay. A small beach is just a few steps away, we swam, had lunch and enjoyed this very much. What would make this place much better is more comfortable mattresses and more luxurious pillows. A few hundred dollars and a trip to IKEA for some new premium mattresses and pillows would go a long way to making visitors enjoy this...
