"We very much enjoyed our stay at Casa Nickel in September of 2024. The villa was as described, and the location is unbeatable for exploring Costa Brava. Supermarkets, restaurants, and the beach are all less than 15 minutes away. Joan was a wonderful host and was in communication with us throughout our stay. I would not hesitate to recommend the property to family members or colleagues looking to vacation in Costa Brava."

"The stone villa is one of the most unique stays we’ve ever had and may ever have. It’s located in a castle town in the middle of the beautiful country side. The house is large and the pool is nice if it’s hot outside. The only negative is that the bedroom and hallway on the kitchen floor has a strong sewage odor. It was hard to be in that area and this issue should be addressed. "

There was only one medium towel each, no smaller towels for the bathroom or spare towels for swimming pool use and shower. "A wonderful villa with superb views across the bay and spectacular sunsets over the Pyrenees. Lots of areas to relax whether by the pool or around the villa. Spacious rooms with everything needed to enjoy the stay. Fantastic hosts always ready to provide recommendations and answer questions.
