"The house looks lovely from outside, as it has a beautiful garden and it is fully equipped, however most equipment was mouldy. Everything in the cupboards was covered in mould and lots of insects in the beds! We have been bitten as the house wasn't cleaned properly. The wardrobes were dusty inside and the floors were dirty. "This place is such a gem. It’s incredibly private, surrounded by farm land. Despite its privacy, you are 5 mins from a fantastic local grocery store with local produce and meat. The house is so artistically restored, with beautiful mementos and artifacts around the house. My family really felt like they were staying in a fantastic, beautiful family home for a week. The major downside was the 'spa' facilities and the communication from the very rude staff members. The sauna and gym were closed due to Covid-19, this is understandable but there was no mention of this online, and I tried calling beforehand to ask but no one answered.
