"Wonderful location if you want to be in the thick of everything. We were within walking distance to everything and the staff was wonderful. Fun little terrace overlooking the Grand Canal and the hotel had Venice charm. Tapestry furnished walls and tons of character. "

"Hotel Cavalletto was absolutely beautiful. We had a room right on the canal overlooking the Gondola’s. The breakfast included was continental but there was hot scrambled egg, bacon and sausage available also. The staff were more than friendly and helpful, and nothing we asked was too much. We did have to move room on our first day due to a small air conditioning issue, but the staff moved us swiftly and made our stay extra special. I will definitely return to this hotel when I return to the beautiful city of Venice, and Hotel Cavalletto will be where I stay."

"Very nice place, carefully follow the directions to find it. When they say take the waterbus #1 they mean waterbus E 1. Furthest waterbus entry to the right when facing the grand canal from the train station. Good central location, best hotel breakfast in Italy. Has a front desk inside, just push the door button to get in."

"Beautiful hotel set outside the busy area. Very easy walking distance to the grand canal and some very nice restaurants near by. Breakfast was good, but the eggs were “ok”, pastries were excellent. Front desk was friendly and able to make all taxi bookings via WhatsApp. Beds were comfy and rooms were spacious. Only missing a bathrob to make it a perfect stay. Would return and recommend. "
