"Traffic outside door and on one side of hotel makes it noisy on one side of rooms. We had trouble with non functioning safes and heating/cooling system. The staff was always present and very helpful. They prepared a complimentary lunch when our departure was before breakfast. "We enjoyed our 3 nights at this hotel from a Thursday - Sunday. But on the Friday night, the music from the club across the street made sleeping impossible... until 3:00 am!! It was horrible! We were VERY excited on the Saturday when we walked by and some bylaw officials were shutting it down for the night. Not sure if this is a long-term thing or just a one-night penalty of some soft but at least we got to sleep before heading to Colca Canyon. If the club was not across the street, the location...
