Nice cantina in local village and other restaurants 20 min drive away. Key tourist sites in the east of the island are 1-2 hrs away. You will return home very rested. A warm welcome from Franco, the owner, and Francesca who is a very attentive guide for the visitor, always available on WhatsApp, and speaks great English....

"We enjoyed our stay in the area. Lots of beautiful countryside and the sea in the distance. the house was great for two couples. You should be aware that a car is essential as there is nothing within walking distance. The coast is 10km down hairpin bends, hence the view! Avola and the surrounding area is lovely, much to see and many beautiful towns and villages. The need to get in the car everytime is a disadvantage, especially in the evenings."

The place is generally quiet expect after sunset when people play paddle ball in the adjacent courts. There are three ACs, one in each bedroom. Salvo was always available for any guidance (local restaurants, places to visit) and support (transfer from/to airport and transport for visiting attractions). "Unfortunately our trip didn't go as planned as our son was ill but Isabella and Corrado were so kind and did everything possible to help. They are lovely people and wonderful hosts. The villa itself is lovely, especially the outside area, and the surroundings are stunning. You definitely need a car but the isolation means peace and quiet and great views. Unfortunately we didn't get to explore the area so hopefully we can return one day."
