I booked the ‘apartment’, which looked lovely with a nice balcony, and I was given the apartment ‘affairs’ which is clean but not pretty at all inside, with a tiny balcony to hang washing on and the hardest bed I have ever slept on (I have bruises on my ribs and hip from the hardness of the bed for three nights…). With no warning or explanation before I arrived. "

"Wir - Familie mit zwei Kindern ( 12 und 14 Jahre) - haben die Zeit hier sehr genossen. Die Wohnung mit den zwei Terrassen ist absolut ausreichend und in einem Parco gelegen - ein ital. Feriendorf, in dem auch hauptsächlich Italiener waren- allein dadurch schon eine sehr ursprünglich italienische Atmosphäre. "This is a very nice apartment. It was newly remodeled. The hosts were amazing! It was worth staying there just to meet them. It had all that you would need for a pleasant stay. The only problem for us was the noise level. It echoed quite a bit throughout the apartment. We would definitely stay there again."

"The location is in an apartment complex, not a tourist area of Augusta. Street parking is a little difficult. We made the mistake of parking near another apartment complex and did not see the sign about the market, so our car was towed. Not a pleasant experience but the police were very helpful. There are some good restaurants within walking distance, especially pizza places. If we visit Sicily again, we would try to stay here."

"Check in was a nightmare. Family was supposed to meet host at airport with a cot - but he was no where to be found. Directions to villa were very scattered but finally arrived met by housekeeper and shown around the villa. It was old and in need of some updating but very comfortable for our party of 10. Beds and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. Pool was lovely although it was still warm enough to swim in the sea. All in all a wonderful holiday."
