"New, immaculately well kept and operated. This was one of nearly a half dozen properties that I stayed at throughout Sicily, and it is beautiful. "place okay. Bit early in season. Everything at the accommodation closed at 7pm. Didn’t open again until breakfast at 0730am. Nowhere else to hang as main reception area closed at 1930so confined to pokey room or outside in cold. We were offered a bigger better room at an extra 20e a night on check in which came over as ours was bit rubbish! -which it was ! It was a 15 min drive to Avola on a dodgy road. Little to see in Avola - sea front area was ok but little there due to time of year. Room...

"We stayed 5 nights at Tenuta Olive Alive and loved it! We used Noto as a bounce off point to visit several towns in the area (Siracusa-Ortigia, Modica, Ragusa Ibla etc). A short drive into Noto itself. Fantastic accom, took advantage of the rain outdoor spaces for some meals, made good use of the pool. Our host, Italo was very welcoming, friendly and accommodating.
