"This is a great location right on the Mississippi River and a short drive to Nauvoo and Keokuk for groceries and food. The home is VERY clean and has all the necessary amenities, lots of games and all the fun things. Our family LOVED staying in this home and loved visiting Nauvoo. "

"This is my family’s second stay in this house. I grew up in Hamilton and come back home for the holidays with my kids (and now grandkids). The house is very clean and provides what we need- a clean place to sleep and shower, and prep/cook food to bring to the gathering. The host is great to work with also! I’ve rented from him 3 times and will be back next year! "

"We chose to celebrate Christmas at The Red House and it was a perfect place to do that! Very homey!"

"The property was suitable for our needs. The information and check in was easy. However, the property does not have adequate furniture in it to suit the capacity. It seems very empty and can't seat what it can sleep. There were toiletries and towels which was nice. The house could be a great VRBO and has potential, but needs to be cleaned up, dusted, spider webs, and the yard needs a clean up-lots of trash and leaves. "This is a great place with a beautiful view! It has everything you need for cooking and serving! The place was very clean and neat. The young people loved the pool. The only problem we had was several hornets nests, which caused three little kids to get stung. We bought spray and sprayed the nests."
