"We wanted to check out Neveda but was also interested in spending a day or two at South Lake Tahoe so we choose this. It was a nice easy drive ( as long as no snowing conditions ) the first day but it was quite scary when there was heavy snow the second day especially at night. We had an AWD Tesla Y with snow tires so it was okay. Added bonus was their EV charging so I didn't have to go out and charge our car. Thanks for having EV charger Carson Valley Inn. "

"Nice clean, well run motel just over the Nevada Stare line. Casino next door with two resturants. Good breakfast included with room stay. Gorgeous view of lake! "

"This hotel is located near the Heavenly Gondola, so it's very easy to walk there and take a ride up to the mountain. It's also close to all the restaurants and shops. On New Year's Eve, they offer lots of celebrations, including concerts, shows and fireworks. "
