There is no noise insulation - I heard everything above and beside me and my neighbors were unhappy that I was working (on calls) early on a holiday week / weekend. They tell you on arrival (not before booking) that the building has a very sensitive smoke alarm - it went off twice while I was there because other guests cooking (burnt stuff). "

"This was a perfect home base for our explorations further up the Columbia Gorge, to nearby cross country skiing at Teacup, and around Hood River. The place was spacious and comfortable and has a stunning view of Mt Hood (when it's clear out!). "

Bonneville Dam was a wonderful tour and the food in Cascade Locks was great. Highly recommend white water rafting with Wet Planet. Many of the suggestions in the digital guest guide were appreciated. (Sidenote about the shower - holy cow talk about water pressure! Lol...
