"We enjoyed our stay at Condovac. We traveled with teens and little kids. The food was wonderful, lots to choose from. The kids enjoyed the fresh fruit and endless pina coladas. The location itself is wonderful but you need to take the shuttle if you want to go from the ocean to the lobby/restaurant. It's pretty hard to get around if you have a baby in a stroller. You have to climb the big hill or grab the shuttle which means folding the stroller and holding the baby. It's quit difficult if...

There’s so much potential in the area but with trash not being cleaned up on the streets and beach it really hurts the area but I won’t take away from the hotel. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. The drinks and menu items were very good and plentiful. "Very pretty views of the ocean and town from our terrace!!! A short 10 minute walk to the beach, the hotel tram was very helpful for getting around as well. The hotel room was clean and felt safe. "

"Unfortunately I did not have the best experience at this hotel. First night had to get the front desk to help me get rid of a HUGE spider & there were cockroaches in the hotel room. It hurt to shower because the pressure was so strong. The windows are bolted shut so it feels like you are a bit of a prisoner. Not the safest area.. I’m not sure why there are so many good reviews about playa Hermosa. I would recommend Taramindo and Flamingo "

"We got an upstairs unit with mini-kitchen and fridge. It was nice to be above the bottom floor pool level since the lower floor rooms' patio opens right up to the pool area. Hotel is conveniently located. All the tour group buses pickup/dropoff conveniently from this hotel. Unfortunately, the front gate to the driveway is always closed so you have to manually push the large gate open/close every time you come in out of the property. Hard to do if you are elderly in age. "

"Wonderful property and Las Catalinas is amazing. Would love to see more chairs on the shared balconies, and fans in the bathrooms. But those are nit picky, and the rest is excellent."
