"All we could have wished for."

"A great little cottage with plenty of amenities, however disappointed to only have 2 wine glasses and 4 mugs for a group of 6 ladies, who all love wine and all love tea, which made it very challenging and annoying. Would recommend for anybody looking to venture to sherwood forest area, as very close to sherwood forest visitor centre. a great Italian restaurant in the village too, 100 yards from the cottage, which was lovely. all in all a great cottage and wouldnt hesitate to stay here again."

"It is a tiny, but wonderful, cottage. It is so homely and ‘liveable’ and the owner, Katie, has obviously tried to provide everything you might need to enjoy a comfortable stay. Even the beds are comfy! It is beautifully clean and well presented; my adult daughter said she would like to live there herself. The main street with a Co-op store, a good selection of eateries and a friendly pub is just a short walk from the door, with the Sherwood Forest craft and visitor centres just a couple of...

"We had a really nice little break as a family, but there were a few things that were a little disappointing given the fact the house appeared on paper to be high end. We arrived with excited kids to find the hot tub was not switched on, so this took 24 hours to heat. A real shame when you only have a short break. There were no complimentary logs for the log burner as promised, and only one bin liner for the bins. So first thing to do was a shop! There were caddies for tea, coffee, sugar, salt...

"Lovely cottage perfect for our two night stay in Derbyshire (family of 4). Large master bedroom and twin bedroom ideal for our two boys (12 and 9). The garden and views across the countryside are fantastic. Location was ideal for visiting Bakewell and Chatsworth."

"Clearview is situated in a beautiful part of Derbyshire and we loved the views! The house is beautiful and extremely comfortable . Visitors should, however , be aware that there are no provisions other than basic dish wash , hand wash requirements and a single loo roll per bathroom. Not an issue at all as long as one knows to bring everything that one needs including pepper and salt, soap for the shower. The home itself is glorious though some drink tumblers would be very helpful."

"A fantastic find for our needs. The owner was exceptionally helpful. Central to the city. Great value for money. We had a great room. However a few things to make it better : 1- the oven/microwave didn’t work even after trying a few times. It needs a master in engineering to make it work. Maybe stick with 2 separate items. 2- Not ideal for light sleepers. Can sadly hear a lot through the walls. 3- although the apartment was clean. I am not too sure the hoover was done.
