"Does have a great view out the front window with the line of palm trees and ocean. We loved fishing in the lagoon with the really clear water and saltwater goldfish lining the banks. You can walk to the beach, but it is some distance depending on what you bring. I read the reviews before booking a train and a busy parking area outside. Both were non issues as the train was not loud at all and the parking is just like that in all the beach towns. Carlsbad is a good central location as we visited...
