"We spent the weekend in this charming loft apartment in Carleton Place so we could see the Springsteen concert in Kanata November '24. The neighborhood is quiet and clean. The home is just a few blocks from many local restaurants and small businesses. We enjoyed walking around town and enjoying the historic architecture and views of the river. The apartment itself is small but comfortable. The entryway stairs are a wee bit steep, which is to be expected in an historic house. Everything was very clean and orderly. Lots of natural light, white walls and lots of very healthy, happy houseplants. Comfy bed with plenty of pillows and enough space in the other half of the room to sit & relax and do some yoga. Our hosts communicated with us before and during our stay. Check in was easy and stress free and we felt safe & welcome throughout the visit . If you are a solo traveler or a couple looking for a restful get away near Ottawa, I wholeheartedly recommend this property!"
