"Check in was friendly and professional. Cleanliness was excellent and comfort in room was fantastic. Complementary spa use was a nice extra as well. One comment on the spa was the steam room and sauna weren't particularly hot. Perhaps just personal preference. Also the liner on the spa pool has come loose, feels a bit lumpy under foot."

"A special shout out to Tom the waiter who went above and beyond serving us in the pub, he was the only worker doing his job on Sunday 9th march 25, his manager sat chatting to public all shift or out the front having a vape, while Tom was running around catering for everyone all on his own. Never once complained and had a smile all shift. "

"Nice hotel. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. There were a view issues with the service, but management sorted them out quickly. Food portion on small side for a man’s appetite. "

"A bit off the beaten track with the last 2 miles being up a single vehicle road but the effort to get there is rewarded with the isolation that one can enjoy. Ideal as a walking base and this time for us as was part business we were often having to use the car to go into cardigan which spoils the purpose of being more country bound."

We travelled to the beach and went board surfing then back to the Shepherds hut were we lit the log fire and enjoyed Pizza that we cooked in the pizza oven that is on sitereally enjoyable stay.sitesitecooked "
