"Braeside Studio is a purpose built studio built in the garden of the host's home. The garden is pretty, and the centre of Milthorpe is a short walk down the road. Milthorpe is a country town that has managed to pull itself out of deprssion by going up market. It has some qualtiy shops, a modern IGA and an iconic restaurant "Tonic" that's well worth a visit. The cottage is well appointed, is exceptionally clean and well presented, private and comfortable."

"We had a wonderful 3 night stay at The Shack. The location, just 3kms to Millthorpe, was ideal. Locating and accessing the property was easy. It is very private and quiet, with lots of outdoor space to roam. We had fun playing soccer and wandering through the grove of trees. We made use of the fully equipped kitchen and the BBQ outside and enjoyed both indoor and outdoor fires. Would highly recommend a stay at The Shack for a quiet relaxing break."

"good location, well kept attractive garden security etc all good. one thing to pass on to owners - albeit great to have clean rooms the smell of chlorine from the cleaning products was overpowering, i get a bit nauseous from chlorine fumes- had to have all doors and window max opened just to be in the room. kinda bummed what would otherwise be a really good experience...... easy fixed, change cleaning products???"

"We have a good stay, however we have the following concerns: 1. We are advised that being guests,we could collect a bottle of wine from the wine shop. But they insisted that wine if provided only on guest wine tasting. We do not mind doing that but this should be clearly stated in our package. 2. The outside table advisertised for this cottage is actually a common area and more for the use of the other connecting cottage. There were lots of possum poo where the outside dining is. 3. "Very happy with the accommodation. Comfortable quality bed and bedding, Kitchen was equiped well and laundry washer and drier were simple to use and worked well. Allowed us to return to the unit at 11.30 on check out day for our daughter to have a quick shower following a basketball game, before we then travelled home. Nice coffee shop 2 minute walk away and centre of town a 5 minute drive away."
