"We had a wonderful stay at Deer Haven. The house was clean and very comfortable. The views were amazing, and the hot tub was perfect after long days of hiking. Nice outside deck seating and interior seats to allow for maximum views enjoyment! Would definitely rent this house again if we return to the area."

"This is three fifth time we’ve stayed here. It’s a gorgeous secluded area, so quiet and peaceful with no one around. Walk out the front door for hours on end of hiking. Great beds, great tv, fun pool table and three best porch! Will continue to return! Pet friendly too!"

"This was the most perfect place to stay. The entire home was incredibly clean and had everything we needed. The view is stunning, and the outlook was a perfect place to watch the sunrise. The host was very responsive and helpful. I would not have changed a single thing about this trip and we will definitely be back. "

"A great property, beautifully decorated and furnished, located in a bucolic setting with a magnificent view of the mountains and skyline. Can't say enough how nice!"

"We had such a wonderful stay. The most comfortable beds ever and the place was perfect for our small group. (would accommodate many more). Our dogs loved playing in the fully fenced yards (yes there are 2) and exploring along the grounds. We came at the perfect time to see all the leaves changing colors. We didn't go out much but it was nice having the piece of mind that if we needed anything stores were not far away. "

"The cabin was perfect for my family of 4! The cabin was clean and decorated so nicely! We loved the nature theme! The hosts were so thoughtful with the items available to us like dishwasher detergent and laundry detergent. The basement floor is finished but empty- I can’t wait to see what they do with that space. Bonus- we saw the northern light from Skyline drive and from the cabin on our 2nd night there! "

"This cabin is amazing! Very authentic, mountain cabin and a more modern basement for variety. We loved it! Only issues were minor, such as low water pressure, especially when more than one of us was showering, no hot water in the downstairs shower, and ants on the kitchen counter, but no biggies, we still loved it and would do it again! Hopefully we’ll get back someday!"

"We are a group of Civil War reenactors that were in town for the Battle of Cedar Creek reenactment. The house and property are beautiful and clean. There was a small issue with the electricity that was resolved quickly. Some of the outside lights (dusk/dawn light above main stairs) didn’t come on. Overall, we highly recommend this house and property. The gorgeous location and beautiful house make for a great getaway. "
