"i was very upset and frustrated because hotels.com did not update the room count—even though The Doubletree sent them a notice after the renovations—so i booked a suite that wasn’t available and got downgraded. I went to the hotel manager first who did their best to make up for this by giving us free breakfast passes, because we made the reservation through a 3rd party.
