"We arrived in Cap d'Ail by train late in the evening and not realizing the town has extreme hills, we walked to the apartment. While part of Cap d'Ail is by the sea, this apartment has its great view because it is up on the hill and I don't recommend walking to it. We didn't have a car and quickly realized that the location was unsuitable for our needs because we would have to take a taxi any time we wanted to get into town, Monaco, etc. We ended up only staying for that one night instead of...

Only issues were I was told I could get an Uber or taxi and waited an hour at the bus stop getting clobbered by bugs before I finally asked to get a ride from owners staff/friend - who quickly came to retrieve me . If you don’t know french it can be difficult to understand the check in to residence- the man did not know English and my French is crap!
