"Well, if you want to visit Schaffhausen, and who wouldn't, this is certainly the place to stay if you are either driving on coming by train. The parking is next door, as is the station. Room was large, clean and comfortable and the hotel's restaurant/bar really nice. It is convenient to everything, and walking distance to all you would want to see. A fantastic place to visit and to stay. Would highly recomment do anyone."

"More Senior upgrades in the bathroom facilities (shower floors very sleepery & no handle bars for safety to hold) otherwise very satisfied. Remember there always can be lmprovements. "

"Chick in must be at 3 pm. The owner told us that the room is not ready..and it will be ready at 5 pm So we waited till 5 pm. The other thing ...he got 202 CHF instead of 192 CHF "

"Beautiful historic hotel located right on the Rhine river and on the edge of the gorgeous old town of Stein am Rhine. The town was quaint and lovely. The room was modern and comfortable with amazing views of the river. Restaurants walkable. But the most amazing thing about this stay was the staff. So pleasant and kind. They came in special in the morning to make us breakfast and it was fantastic! I can’t wait to come back here. If you get the chance definitely stay here "

"The accommodation is a little dated in places (some broken tiles in the shower and on the floor of the toilet). The double rooms have a spacious wardrobe, a practical washbasin, a small work desk and a TV. Unfortunately, the double room on my floor (2nd floor) had no lounge and no kitchen/fridge. It was a little too expensive for what was on offer. "
