"Quaint relaxing place with local charm"

"Staff friendly and rooms very clean. Have stayed in Praia da Rocha several times before but never at Flor da Rocha. Only disadvantages, staying in late March the balcony always seemed to be in the shade. At no point, even on the sunny warmer days was it ever a sun trap. Think this is due to the other buildings close by and the shape of the building itself. Other disadvantage, which isn't the apartments fault are some of the other guests. Sound proofing between apartments isn't great...

"From our experience, NH holds every nickel a prisoner when it comes to the upgrading and maintenance of its rooms. Spacious but Spartan. The entrance door was jammed so that it took a full FBI style crosscheck to get it open every time. The sliding glass door didn't actually lock, fortunately as we forgot the keys inside once. While other accommodations offered free port and various other welcome gifts, we were met with fee-based everything in the room. Having to 'consider' a twenty Euro penalty...

"Looks very nice from outside but the property is old and not the best maintained. Staff are nice and responsive. The interior of the accommodation was very ordinary even the towels were old and worn. Near to the city center and somewhat walkable 20/25min to the beach. "

"Very nice little studio, with view on the sea, and 2min walk from it. Perfect location to explore the nearby beach, cliffs and caves, or to walk or run on the long boardwalk. Decent size space, though lacking kitchen cleaning supplies (only a hand towel provided). Indoor pool and sauna, and a small laundry room made this experience even more enjoyable. Would stay again!"

"Stayed in a fantastic 2 bedroom all redone inside. The one bed next door was not and was a 3 star room. The 2 bed was a five. Huge balcony overlooking the sea. If I knew beforehand would have booked at least a week. The 2 bed you could stay for a month or two. Great area to walk/get around. Tapas around the corner was incredible. "

"Excellent Apartment for a very reasonable price. Clean and a good size. In a very nice area wit a short walk to the Beach. Manager accommodated late check in without fuss and with quick replies to emails."

"Emergency family trip as my sister-in-law was in a near fatal car accident and was in Portimao hospital, so this property was ideal and close to the hospital for our stay. Very clean helpful staff, will definitely book again, in not so unfortunate circumstances."

"This is an outstanding hotel, with great customer service. For example, I said I liked the tea at breakfast - and I then had (without asking) a gift of tea sent to my room by hotel management. Absolutely outstanding! The one minor development is I was there with my 14 year old son. He wasn’t allowed anywhere near the indoor pool. This policy needs a rethink. "

Beautiful rooms and amazing staff!

"The staff at this hotel are amazing! They are so helpful, so friendly, so welcoming! The first day we arrived they immediately helped us settle in. Showed us the beautiful premises and gave us some info about the area, where to eat etc. the lady was so sweet, she was always engaging our kids and even gave them beautiful colouring books which my kids loved. The breakfast buffet is amazing and the parking is easy, safe and free. The area is very walkable and close to a lot of attractions. The room is big and comfortable, we had a huge bed and big sofa bed. There is a really great communal kitchen which you can also eat in. I highly recommend staying here. This place was a highlight of our trip. "
