"The place is in the middle of the old town, which is a perfect location. I also have to appreciate the super-friendly owner/provider who helped me accommodate and explained everything. My bathroom was not within my room, but the bathroom was private (just for my room), so no big deal. The place can also be a bit noisy, but that is the tax for being in the centre of the old town."

"We had a very comfortable stay at this hotel. From the ferry, we suggest you use mainly roads, rather than paths up the mountain if you have luggage. The walking paths have uneven steps and are quite quaint when just going for a stroll. We felt welcomed the moment we walked into this homelike hotel. "This is a wonderful boutique hotel perfectly situated for a stay in beautiful Bergamo's Citta Alta. We were greeted so warmly - the managers and staff are all smiles all the time! - and welcomed with a glass of lovely local White and a charcuterie board, while we watched the tiny funicular which goes up to the highest point of the town. "I may have missed it in the description but the door to your room is on the road so it felt a bit less safe than a normal hotel but the area itself felt safe and it was the cheapest room in the whole of Milan for my stay so worth it. 10 mins if that to the central station so the area is perfect. You only see the staff when they hand you the keys. They were polite. Due to the price I would stay here again but if it went up I’d stay in a normal hotel. "
