"This was our third time staying in this castle apartment. It’s a lovely little piece of heaven. We love everything about it. The views are simply spectacular! We love the kitchen and prepared several meals while there. The location is great and the town is so very cute. The water pressure is very poor and we had an box elder infestation, we actually left a day early without a refund. The staff was helpful and pleasant. "We stayed one week in one of the appartments outside of the castle. We had the big one (No. 1.B) with 4 bedrooms. So a lot of space for 4 people like us, it might be a bit more cosy with the supposed 8 people max. capacity. The environment around the castle is great, pure Tuscan, great views of the countryside and most of the Tuscan attractions are close by to be reached within a daytrip. Rooms were clean and in reasonable shape. The fridge was big enough and had a huge freezer compartment....

"Cabbiavoli was the gathering place for our two week celebration with family and friends for my husband’s retirement. We were within an hour of every place we wanted to visit (Florence, Siena, Piza, Volterra) and even got to do the Cinque Terre hike, albeit a long day but so worth the two hour drive time! "The Castle and surroundings are stunning. The property is right next to the castle and a short walk to the pool. It had everything we needed for our 3 days whist we explored the cities of Florence, Pisa and Siena, all a short car journey away. Because of the location you definitely needed a car.
