It is kind of in the middle of nowhere but for a city girl the country is going to be a little different. If you are looking for a quiet peaceful retreat it’s perfect. Paul is friendly and on hand if you need him as he lives next door. So you are not completely on your own in the middle of nowhere. Overall a lovely stay "

"We had a really relaxing and peaceful stay. The property is very rural which suited us perfectly but you will need a car to pop to the shops. The property has been renovated to a very high standard with quality furniture and fitting throughout. Only minor to be aware of is that the fridge does not have a freezer compartment so don't pick up ice-cream ;-) "

"The property was as described and was clean and comfortable and in a good location. Check in was easy. However this is the only property I have EVER stayed in that didnt provide any tea coffee milk etc. Even budget hotels do this. It made the place seem unwelcoming and meant we hsd nothing to drink on arrival after a long journey. The same applies to the minute amount of hand soap provided. Also, a bin bag would have been useful. Parking was ok but was on the street and at a distance...fine...

"Property said pet friendly but when you got there said no dogs upstairs, not good when you have a dog with separation anxiety. Didn't find out until che k in details came through that there was no parking on the street the house is on. House was dirty. Tried to use hoover, it was totally blocked and not usable, had a broom but no dustpan so couldn't even do any cleaning of floors while there."

Many walks from your doorstep and others a very short drive away. This cottage and local shops/pub all welcoming and dog friendly. Thanks Peter and Sandra for a lovely stay."
