But due to the fire in Jasper, the highways were closed and the town was evacuated and obviously, I could not use the cabins. "Toll war, dass man eigenständig sein konnte, und dass die Weißwedelhirsche hinterm Haus brunfteten. Schlecht war, dass das Ding Rock Lake Lodge heißt, aber keine "Rocks" da waren, der "Lake" eineinhalb Kilometer weit weg war, das Mieten von Kanus nur eingeschränkt möglich war. Die Lodges hatten keine Ausstattung zum Kochen, nur eine Mikrowelle; wie man fernab der Zivilisation an mikrowellen-Dinner kommen soll, erschloss sich uns nicht.
