Close to the airport and about a 25 min ride to the touristy things , but the taxis using grab are very reasonable.The staff were so kind and helpful . One staff member went above and beyond . Thank you Tri for for all the recommendations about where to go in the city and help with Grab app etc . "

"A short drive from the airport, First Hotel is an excellent hotel with high quality rooms and facilities. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the private tours were great - especially the Mekong Delta day trip. Staying in a non-touristy area was an immersive cultural experience. A highlight was the nearby cinema, which was a fun experience with its 4DX theatre."

"Good place for price. Stayed only 1 night awaiting flight transfer, and it was very close to the airport (walkable with limited luggage) which was great for us. Very friendly staff and functional air conditioning which was necessary! Would stay here again for a similar purpose, though would probably stay closer to tourists sites if staying in the city longer. "

"Sure! Here’s a concise hotel review: “I had a wonderful stay at the HUB hotel. The staff were friendly and attentive. The room was clean, comfortable, new and well-equipped. The location was convenient, close to the Tan Son Nhat airport. They offered free airport pickup and a free breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting SaiGon. "

"We had a great stay at the Equatorial. We had kids also and the staff was friendly and helpful (sadly this is not the norm at all 5-star properties in Vietnam, so it was a nice experience). The pool is great, I would recommend a room by the pool. The food was also very food (slightly pricy compared to alternatives, but comparable). I would recommend this hotel as great option for visiting HCMC. "

"Overall it was a great hotel however the lifts took ages, it opened the faculties up to a lot of people who do not stay at the hotel. Hard to get a day bed by the pool, the pool tiles were all falling off and the pool edging was dirty and run down. The coffee served for breakfast was terrible and the machine kept breaking down. The iced coffees were disappointing. Could not fault the service and offerings at the seafood buffet, it was 10/10. "

"Entrance to the hotel lobby is down the parkade ramp to the basement, then elevator to the 11th floor lobby. Staff was friendly but spoke very limited English. Room was cool, clean and tidy. Bed wasn’t the most comfortable but was adequate. "

"Stayed here for 5 days in January and loved it. The room and stay were great, a very solid 4 star hotel. The area was walkable and many main attractions were withing a 15 minute walk. The hotel dinning options were a bit limited but were tasty. A bit noisy at night and in the morning as there in a night club across the street that had karaoke at night and a school directly across the street that was busy in the morning. With all that said, I'd stay here again..."
