"The cabin is on a peaceful and private piece of land. It was clean and cozy! We enjoyed cooking, playing games, using the wood burning stove and relaxing in the hot tub. The kitchen was fully stocked with cookware and nice appliances. The showers were wonderful and had included soaps which was appreciated. We would suggest bringing your own pillows (but the beds are very comfortable!) and bringing ice as the ice maker wasn't functional. If you are looking to stay in the area we would definitely...

"Wayne is an excellent host, Betty Jo always makes my return visits special! I didn’t check in until 2-3 AM and Betty Jo always has it well lit. The property is always well maintained. I took full advantage of the fireplace this trip and we got snow. Silver tree cabin is my ideal getaway to reconnect with myself. "This was our fifth stay. The cabin is always ready when we arrive and never disappoints. Kim and Larry, the hosts, are there if you need anything and always make you feel welcome. The cabin is perfect for frequently visiting our children and grandchildren. Our dogs enjoy the yard and visiting with Kim and Larry's dogs. The atmosphere is comfortable and relaxing. "Lake lure took a big hit to the storm. But this cabin had all we needed to keep us occupied during our stay. Restaurants and some shops are open. Loved how everyone is so open to helping each other. House was so lovely, owner was very accommodating. Anytime I had a question. I texted him personally. He responded very quickly. I highly recommend this house. We will come back."

"This was one of the best Christmases we have ever had. We spent most of our time there in the cabin with the fireplace. We brought a small Christmas tree and decorated the cabin. It was really nice to look in from the hot tub and see it all. This was the second time we have been there, and the cabin is always well kept up and clean. The ladies do an awesome job maintaining it. we will definitely be coming back."

"This is a lovely compromise between primitive camping and a cabin! We enjoyed the cold mountain air and clear skies, but were happy to crawl into sleeping bags on provided bunks and sleeping pads.
