"This is an older facility - the room is small, but clean. The staff is wonderful. Parking was free on the street. Our room faced the harbor - beautiful - even with lousy weather. Not much open at night due to poor weather. We managed to fine a good pub. Breakfast was wonderful!"

"The staff were excellent, the hotel itself was nice, basic and clean. I could hear other people in the rooms either side though, the breakfast was ok. But the best thing was the staff, I was travelling on my own and they were great to help me out."

"We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful, clean, comfortable and characterful BnB, in a great location an easy 10 minute walk to the centre of town. Warm and friendly customer service. Comfy beds, great bath tub, supermarket just a few houses up the road. We were only disappointed there was no breakfast service during our stay as the previous breakfast reviews were fab! "Nice guesthouse, friendly staff. Its not a modern sleek guesthouse, but you'd probably struggle tonfind that in Killarney anyway. My room actually looked better and more modern than in the photo's. I did struggle with the key lock to get in at night, although im going to put that down to me having a few pints. I didnt have breakfast so cant comnebt on that, but as with most places at th moment needs to be pre booked up until 9pm the night before. Had all the toiletries you'd normally get,...

"Really enjoyed our stay at the apartment. Check-in and parking was quick and easy. The apartment was clean and warm, slightly dated but I would happily live there! Washer/dryer in the apartment which was very handy. 30 second walk from one of the main streets in Killarney. "

"The property management manager was very helpful and responsive.However the property is on the outskirts of Killarney and a 20 min walk in case you are going out at night in the town."

"We stayed at jack duggan pub. It was clean, comfortable and spacious accommodation and really fun to have the bar. On a busy road so some traffic noise but with windows closed it was fine. The house is well stocked, our host was easy to communicate with and responded quickly to any queries. We went to the griffin for a nice pub dinner one night and the staff there were fabulous. "

"The check-in staff were exceptionally friendly and explained that they would accommodate an earlier check-in as soon as our room was ready. The lobby is really stunning, with fireplaces and a cozy ambience. The bar and restaurant on site were really nice too. I would recommend staying for breakfast, which we did. The breakfast spread exceeded my expectations. As we stayed on weeknights in January, it clearly was not the '' busy '' time of year. However, even though it wasn't that busy the spa of the hotel still had quite a few people in it. The spa facilities were beautiful, but I would imagine during the high season this gets overrun and wouldn't be as relaxing. "

Management at its best.

"The best hotel stay in a long time thanks to manager Brian Budhlaeir. Our suite was so spacious, comfortable, clean and homely. It even had a christmas tree. There was live music on the piano during dinner, mulled wine and games. The atmosphere in the Aghadoe was so relaxing and we cannot wait to return."

"Amazing hotel to launch our drive around the ring the next day. Parking is available around the corner (5 minute walk) in an open parking lot. Many cafes and restaurants and bars all within 10 minutes maximum walk. Loved our stay!"
