"Lovely area , view and structures. We were 6 adults in town for a wedding, it was farther than I thought to Placerville and the venue, Apple Hill only because of the windy,twisty roads added time. The hot tub had a strong chemical odor and no one wanted to use it. The AC struggled to keep up with 90+ temps, the fans provided helped. Heads up, the main house tub is really slippery, a towel put down solved it. Kitchen very well supplied. You have everything you need, we only cooked one meal but...

"We loved our stay at Back of the Moon Cottage. The house was clean, spacious, and very comfortable for the 5 of us. The interior is beautifully updated with the the charm of an old home. We were 5 minutes from Placerville and another 10 minutes from a wedding in Apple Hill. We would stay here again in an instant on our next trip to this region. Great host/great place!"

"This beautiful home is located in the epicenter of Plymouth wine tasting! It is perfect for family gatherings as the kitchen and dining area are quite large and can easily accommodate everyone around the dining table. Our wine tasting at Paul J was wonderful (and we could walk there with ease). Beds were very comfortable! We will definitely be back!"

"The accommodations were very cozy, quiet and serene. The House had a beautiful deck overlooking forested area by the creek below. The house was very, very clean and the kitchen was stocked with everything you would need. It was really neat seeing deer, goats and wild turkeys near the property."
