"Where to even start?! I was blown away from the moment I stepped through the door and again as I turned every corner. "We were evacuating from a hurricane and this house was a safe place to stay. All necessities were there, but it IS an older home and comes with all that entails. Creaky floors and settling noises. Doors were not air tight, so on the warmer nights bugs were abundant and able to get in. The location was nice, although not near anything. Fenced in yard was good for the dog. Neighbor was very nice and helpful when we had issues with a lock. any really"

Cons - showers bad, no pressure, hot water barely warm, towels well used, living room large, but only 2 chairs, no couch for family viewing of tv, little amenities like facial tissues would have been nice. Also on a noisy street at night, and a long walk > 1 mile to town square, which is center of the town. That last sentence summed up the biggest...

We were given a working code to the key box, but there was no key. After waiting in our car, someone brought 1 key for 7 people to share. "For our 50th Class Reunion, the Henry House was perfect. Debra was an ideal host. She let us check in early and made certain all was to our liking. The ambiance of the house was so peaceful. My husband said there was a sweet spirit in this house, and there was. I particularly loved the way Debra stayed true to the character of the original home. We loved it and will come again!"
