"I give this rental a five stars overall. The property contact was very responsive. The location so close to the lake is just perfect. Great for a girls weekend away. Only constructive feedback. Is there a couple of things that should be repaired on the property, such as a cracked sink, But nothing that overall affected the functionality of the rental for us. Neighbors were very quiet and we would definitely stay here again."

"Jake’s place was perfect for our stay, as it was a relaxing, clean and a nice home. The two floor layout worked especially well for our infant daughter so she had a quiet place to sleep, while we could cook and hang out in the living room. The only suggestion to the host is to install curtains along the picturesque sliding doors for a bit of extra privacy at nighttime."

"The Johnson house was perfect for our family of 5 and our golden doodle to stay for the Christmas holiday. We were in town visiting family and needed a place for all of us to stay. Stacy had even gone above and beyond and had a Christmas tree and decorations to truly make it feel like home. The house is in a great location to be able to visit our family members spread all around Dane County."

"Plenty of room for everyone and nice location for our weekend getaway. Far enough from the hustle and bustle but close enough to have things to do! Enjoyed an afternoon of antiquing and exploring Madison which is a short drive. Grocery store and gas station located within minutes of the property. Relaxing lake side location and views. "If we could give 11 stars, we would! Every attention to detail was thought of. The hosts even dropped off an amazing charcuterie board on our arrival. We loved the themed rooms and historical information throughout the house. Would love to stay here again in the summer when we can take advantage of the location on the water. Our young adults loved the Eagle’s Nest and what a beautiful view!"
