A short distance out of the small city of Milton, WI is a neat old wood covered bridge. It provides a little used road over a small meandering stream. On this Winter day we received over a foot of snow. The white flakes and the red bridge created one of my favorite Americana photos. The tree lined snowy path provides a surreal and wintery feel.

"I give this rental a five stars overall. The property contact was very responsive. The location so close to the lake is just perfect. Great for a girls weekend away. Only constructive feedback. Is there a couple of things that should be repaired on the property, such as a cracked sink, But nothing that overall affected the functionality of the rental for us. Neighbors were very quiet and we would definitely stay here again."

"Me and four of my friends went for the weekend for our annual girls trip. The space was perfect as it could accommodate all of us with our own room and bed. Is decorated really cute. The location is unbeatable. We parked in the lot and never got back in our cars the whole weekend. There is some noise at night out in the parking lot from people leaving the bars, so that was a bit annoying."

"Went there for a short weekend with 5 Ladies total. Arrived on Friday to a house that was 43 degrees; stayed like that until Saturday morning around 9:15 when HVAC showed up. Did continuously communicate with the owner however, I would've liked to see them reaching out to check on us rather than me doing constant follow-ups regarding said heat issue. "A few friends and I just wanted to get away for the day. The house was so big and beautiful! We wished we stayed longer! It’s 15 minutes from downtown Lake Geneva we hung out by the strip and then came back. Jacuzzi is huge! I would definitely stay again!! "

"The Johnson house was perfect for our family of 5 and our golden doodle to stay for the Christmas holiday. We were in town visiting family and needed a place for all of us to stay. Stacy had even gone above and beyond and had a Christmas tree and decorations to truly make it feel like home. The house is in a great location to be able to visit our family members spread all around Dane County."
