"Loved our stay. The unit was beautifully presented inside and out with generous breakfast provisions provided. The bed was comfortable and the hosts have provided everything you may need for your stay. I loved the bed pillows provided, one soft and the other firm to cater to all needs. The outdoor area was inviting however because of the cold we enjoyed sitting in front of the sliding doors enjoying the morning sun streaming through. The hosts were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend."

I am very much in love with “old” buildings; the decor in the house was spectacular , the gardens and the house was well maintained! It felt like you were “stepping back in time”! "There is no question that the property was as advertised and more. The cottage was spacious and very clean. The kitchen had everything we needed for preparing meals. "Lovely, peaceful stay for a special occasion or just a getaway for a night! The Shiraz Homestead was so spacious, loved the big bedrooms, one with a four poster king-sized bed which was lovely & comfortable. The deck was perfect for an afternoon wine and morning coffee/ breakfast that is supplied at the cottage. Great spa bath to relax. "Property is right in the heart of Hahndorf. We were given an upstairs apartment. Not the best if you have large suitcases. The stairway is inside the apartments. Lovely shower although our showerhead needed a good clean and descale. Otherwise all good. Have stayed before and would stay again in a downstairs apartment."
