"Lovely villa with character. Large shared living space. Rooms large - twin on ground floor 2 en suite rooms one almost a mezzanine and one accessed through a separate door outside the building. We didn’t try the sauna or pool as it was February. Kitchen has everything to cater for a large group with a big dining table.Log burner was fantastic.Great location halfway up the valley side above Monchique."

"We had a fantastic time. The house is roomy, comfortable, and extremely well laid out. The fireplace gave us a beautiful chance to warm up in the evenings and review our days, while listening to a pair of Tawny Owls. Casa Milonga is very close to Praia da Marinha -- a stunning beach and breathtaking coastline. The long hike along the coast is stunning. And it was easy to drive to more distant places, both east and west. This is the perfect place for a relaxed vacation."

"We really enjoyed the attractive house and the beautiful terraces overlooking the beautiful garden with an enormous diversity of plants and trees. We understand why the name Small World was chosen. The location is great. Quiet but within easy driving distance of a number of beautiful beaches and the location town of Silves. From the house you can also take beautiful walks in the immediate area. We will come back here for sure!"

"Overall the property and location were good. However, the villa would benefit from some "routine maintenance" which would have given it 5 stars from us. When we arrived, the dishwasher didn't work. We reported it and 3 days later, they took the old one away and left us with nothing for the rest of our stay. When we used the sink to hand wash the dishes, it leaked dirty water all over the kitchen floor due to poor plumbing. One of the air conditioning units needed maintenance as it sprayed ice...

"The villa is lovely, spacious, clean, and in a perfect location. We paid for the pool heating and it was well worth it! The pool was lovely. I will say that the bed was definitely way too hard for me and this was agreed by the other members who stayed at the villa with us. The only down fall was the checkin process with villa Algarve. On the booking it states you will receive the checkin information a week before. I had to contact the company 5 days before, and then I messaged them on the day...
