"My wife and I enjoyed our stay here! The room is basic but equipped with all the essentials (private entrance, private bathroom, kitchen sink, and fridge). It’s perfect for use as a home base while spending your days out and about. It is very close to a bus stop, about a 4 min walk, which gives easy connection to the rest of the city. The family is very quiet and we were not disturbed at all during our stay. "

"We enjoyed this Scottish “steading”. It was a charming farmhouse attached with other houses. The neighbors were friendly and helpful when we first got there. The house was plenty big enough for the 9 of us. The only downfall was the very slow Internet. But that wasn’t the fault of the owner. The house was about a mile outside of town which made it a very quiet stay. "

"This is a wonderful location right below the castle. Every morning we woke up to a gorgeous view! Peaceful street, one block from all of the Grassmarket shops and restaurants, and it was so easy to walk everywhere in town. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful.
