"The property is really nice and the staff are great. Its coneviently located an easy walk from the train station. The biggest draw back is the construction oitside and the transient population in the area. Great for a short overnight stay if getting connecting trains but for longer stays the city centre would be a better option."

"A warm welcome , a good meal , a relaxing bath , a comfortable bed and a quiet location, what more can you ask for. have stayed at this hotel many times in the past, and have always been made very welcome . It’s not the most chic hotel in the world, but definitely has the important features sorted. The restaurant menu is simple but good and reasonably priced. The breakfast is good value and varied. The staff are lovely, helpful and friendly and a credit to the hotel. A special mention must be given to Gregory on reception in the evening, who went above and beyond . stay in many places in Europe and this is one of my absolute favourites, it’s not top end , but it’s not pretentious either, it’s friendly and comfortable and I an always able to relax when I stay here "

"Excellent clean, comfortable hotel with all the facilities you need for an overnight stop off travelling through France. Five mins off the motorway, several places to eat within walking distance or 10 mins drive into Bethune - try to O Grand Buffet for a great value, good quality feast. Also great buffet breakfast at hotel."
