"It was amazing stay, staff were helpful chateau set in fabulous grounds,plus it had its own indoor pool. The restaurant food was excellent, the bar staff Quintin was excellent. "

"Really enjoyed my stay here, a long weekend break on my motorcycle to attend the armistice commemorations in Ypres and visit sites around the area. From arrival the staff were great, finding somewhere secure to park my motorbike and dealing with a failed remote on the tv. Room was large and basic with nowhere to put clothes away, but plenty of space to put them on the spare beds. It is a decent walk into town (about 20 minutes) and that was fine for me. Not many amenities around the hotel, but it has a great bar and restaurant on site. Breakfast was a mix of cold and hot buffet and well worth the cost. All things considered I would recommend the Flanders Lodge to anyone wanting decent accommodation with off street parking close to Ypres but not in the centre. "

"Arrived late the gate was shut but we found a fone number outside and were quickly let in. We were offered a bottle of water each which was very welcome. "

"Room was below par. Duvet had cigarette burns in it despite it supposed being non smoking room. Smell of cigarettes. Bathroom door didn’t close properly and wc ran continuously making noise. "

"Service was excellent from start to finish. The gentleman that greeted us was efficient and throughout our stay helped the other staff with english translation. We could not fault him, I just wish we had asked his name to add his name to this review, he was on duty every day we were staying at the hotel. The food available for breakfast was fantastic, tasty and so much choice. The meals in the evening was also delicious. The hotel is 1 minute from the train station. There is a car park avaiable for 10 euros per day. We would absolutely recommend this hotel & will definitely be staying their again"
