"Staff were exceptionally kind and helpful in all aspects of their service. Small resort with few guests meant that the service felt very personal and the staff were very attentive to everyone staying there. Everything was very clean, and the one restaurant on the property had great food. There are limited dining options onsite and in the immediate area, but we were happy with the restaurant. It is a little off the beaten path, and not easily walkable to beaches or other amenities, so a car would be ideal if staying here. Staff at the front desk able to assist in booking local tours, but a highlight of the property is that we had the place practically to ourselves all day when most travelers left or were off doing excursions "

"Beware that this is 4.5 hours away from the San Jose Airport! They do NOT inform anyone of this and you need to get to the Ferry to cross over to Tambor which is not 24/7 You need to plan very carefully so you don't lose a day like I did and so many others did that I met at the Hotel. They are also very aware of this and have done nothing about it!! The buffet food is ok. Not the best, but not the worst. You will find something. The Italian ala carte restaurant is excellent! Alsoif you don't speak Spanish, you will be disappointed during the nightly show as they only speak spanish :( The actual entertainment is great though. The funny parts inbetween though, all in spanish so you will be at a loss at what everyone is laughing about"
