"Really nice stay really convenient location for the station and Bordeaux city centre just a tram journey. Room was spacious and clean, shower was ok but wasn’t that powerful, only one iron so if you wanted it you had to hope no one else was using it. Would highly recommend due to location and the quietness of the place."

"Chambre et endroit très propre et calme. Le parquet craque un peu au risque de réveiller les voisins de palier mais c'est ce qui fait le charme de cet endroit. Je pense qu'il faut être relativement peu bruyant pour passer un bon séjour. Endroit idéal pour un séjour au calme, le propriétaire est très disponible et arrangeant. "

"Our hosts were very sweet and spoke excellent English, making it a fluid check in process. Instructions were provided ahead of time explaining how to access the property. They breakfast was lovely and the property is pretty close to a tram station that can take you into the Coty. "

"Masai Mara suite was spacious and well appointed. Double sink and large shower. Staff was helpful. Make sure you get the entry code to get in before you arrive. They send it to you by email the morning you are to arrive. There is no 24 hr. reception like a hotel. Good location a short walk to shops and cafes. "

"After a long week of travel throughout France, this was the perfect place to rest and rejuvenate. It’s in a quiet neighborhood just a few minutes walk from a tram line and wonderful restaurants. While we weren’t able to enjoy the morning breakfast or meet the hosts/ staff, the rest of the amenities were great, especially the amazingly comfortable bed. "The people were the most incredible, friendly, helpful and kind host that we've ever had. There was sometimes a little difficulty finding restaurants as it was a very remote area and they even offered to have supper for us. "Excellent "

"Positives - pleasant location. Room fine. Clean and tidy. Negatives- not as advertised. No bar, deli, swimming pool, garden, tables and chairs, or atmosphere. We discovered on arrival most facilities were closed because of change of ownership. So if you plan to stay soon, be warned…currently not what it says on the tin! A 5 mile drive for something to eat in the evening was the last thing we expected. "

"We liked that it was in city centre and close to transport. The room was spacious and facilities good. There was a shared lounge and kitchen area together with an outside court yard. The kitchen is well set up with everything needed. Pierre the owner is very obliging. Overall a pleasant place to rest your head. "

"It was different, like staying in a friends house with some of their stuff still in the room. I had difficulty finding it so they very kindly picked me up at a local restaurant I had found. I arrived late and left early but the overall impression was very positive."

"Very friendly staff warm hospitality will come back..."

"Considering it is a place out in the country, with no stores or cafes nearby. I believe there should be some coffee/tea and especially water in the rooms. It was a very warm few days (over 90 degrees F/30 degrees C) and there was no water provided, and there were no glasses in the bathroom. The internet does not work well and I had to teach an online class which could not happen. Do not expect to connect to the internet. "

"We stayed in the Palais Royals room and loved it! It was beautifully updated and the entire property was well appointed and thoughtfully decorated. The pictures didn’t do it justice. Fabrice was a lovely host and we will definitely recommend to friends."

If you’re looking for a quiet place to soak in the countryside, this is it. Serene, quiet and beautiful If you don’t have a vehicle be sure to stop at the grocery before heading in. "This was our second visit to this hotel. Previously we came in a summer ,but this visit was on the last day of Bordeaux Xmas market. The hotel is situated on the tram line which you can buy tickets at the machine or on the app. To get into centre takes about ten mins. Across from hotel is the river which you can walk into Bordeaux with lots of restaurants and shops. A lot shut in the winter, but definitely worth a nice walk. "The hotel and the staff were amazing. The area was very walkable with a lot of dining options. The river is pretty spectacular too. You are in walking distance to the train, buses and the light rail system so it is easy to travel anywhere. "

" Quirky decoration throughout, confortable and clean. Staff were welcoming. Located in the city centre, so easy access by foot. There's no access by car due to barriers on the streets, so we had to use a local car park. At night, the area around the hotel didn't feel particularly welcoming due to homelessness, but this was a problem all around the city."
