"This property and staff were so great, their slogan is "experience private island living", and it is very true. We were prepared and had a wonderful time after reading previous reviews, we brought snacks and a water bottle and cash. Knowing it was very isolated, as such you are completely dependant on the resort for food, tours and transportation. There is no close towns and no nearby ATM. You will want to budget for airport shuttle about the amount of a night stay as it is 1.5 hours from airport. But you gain the individualized attention from the staff. Leo is a fantastic guide if you choose to go on an outing, easygoing, personable, and attentive. Meals at restaurant range 300-700 PHP per dish Internet is spotty but works for emails and chatting. Out of the resorts control there are visitor taxes that are collected while on the shuttle to the resort at checkpoints.(Approx 200 PHP per person per each side of island) It is quiet peaceful and stunningly beautiful. "

"The hotel receptionists are very kind and helpful especially Charmaine. They made us feel extra special, they recommended tours that were reasonably priced and good restaurants to eat to. The hotel has a beautiful penthouse overlooking the port. We usually just buy take out food from the restaurants and eat our breakfast in the penthouse (sunrise view) or eat dinner (sunset view). Definitely recommend this beautiful, modern and very clean hotel."

"Very very good value for money. Nice large room with an amazing view. Good air con. Front desk couldn’t do enough for you, cheap laundry, filtered water available for free. Compared to other places it’s amazing value. Only downside I would say is the bathroom is very dated and the entire floor gets wet when using the shower as the drain is not the best, but for the price you can’t complain. "
