Friendliest and most helpful staff! They anticipate your every need during your stay, give gifts, are extremely welcoming. The complimentary buffet breakfast is delicious and much appreciated, esp before early island tours. A delight!

This is my second time staying at the Funny Lion. I’ve always had great experience here and my stay was fantabolous. If I had to come to Coron again I will surely stay here again. Staff were wonderful and the place is clean. The bed was very comfortable and I loved it.

Absolutely loved this hotel, we loved the location, close to town and the dock where we did the boat tours. Staff is absolutely amazing and so kind, food was awesome. The rooftop is great for sunsets and drinks!

Fantastic Hotel
We loved our 4 night stay at the Funny Lion Coron. The staff were efficient and friendly, always willing to get you a Tuk Tuk into town and help with any request. The room was spacious and bed comfortable and great bathroom. The little touches like the complimentary fruit juices and sweets are an added touch and the view from the bar is sensational. Plus they do a fantastic cocktail that I just fell in love with. This Funny Lion (in Coron) is far superior to the El Nido Funny Lion which was lacking a little. Well done Funny Lion in Coron!

It’s a beautiful hotel with stellar management and staff. With each day we stayed there, we became more enchanted with the place. I can’t stress this part enough that the service, attentiveness was stellar. It’s perhaps the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at. I had my wife reality check this statement to make sure that I wasn’t exaggerating and making fair comparisons to other great hotels. I have stayed at hotels with incredible facilities such as one at Lake Como, Italy that was breathtakingly beautiful. In this case, it’s the staff. The facilities are smartly designed and it does have pretty landscaping. The staff and managers frequently check with us to verify that everything was good. They made special effort to help us trip planning. They offered a special dinner on our last evening with our favorite Filipino dishes. My wife has health sensitivities to sodium so they always cooked her meal with low sodium and still made it tasty. When are showed up for the special dinner, the scene was amazing. They had a private table set in the grass, overlooking a pool. The candle lite table was surrounded with a canopy of lights and lawn lanterns. We called the cook and staff to our table and tipped them. The next morning they coordinated our pick up to ensure we arrived on time and in comfort for our flight. The manager was even cutting old flight tags off our luggage. What a champ! Look, they were over the top on their service. So, they do deserve this review.
