The owners’ house and one other rental is on the same property, but they’re spaced far enough for plenty of privacy. "Our family traveled from Tennessee, South Carolina, and Georgia, to visit my oldest daughter and grandchildren in St Cloud, MN. The log house met all my expectations, it was stocked with everything a family would need in a house, very clean, spacious and not to mention beautiful. The owners were very easy to communicate with. I definitely will book the house on my next visit! "

"Overall it was a fun experience. Wish i had a bigger boat at the time but made the trip. Had a little friend running around at night stealing our peanut butter cups lol. But overall the place was nice and we had a great time"

"The property is very beautiful the pictures don’t do it justice. The grandkids loved the lake and made good use of it. The screened in back porch has a great barbecue and a nice table. Perfect setting for eating outside. Gary and Sandy are excellent host."

"All very nice. Heads up no coffee nor sugar. You need to bring your own. We found coffee filters but you might want to bring those too. Fortunately we brought our own coffee stuff for traditional coffee pot. Which was provided. "

"This was our second time staying at Kris’s cabin. The cabin is very spacious and was perfect for our large family. The new second bathroom came in handy and the kids enjoyed going out on the pontoon. The lake had an abundance of algae by the shore and the dock but the kids were able to swim off the end of the dock where the water was more clear. The large yard was nice for the kids to run around in."

Enjoy cozy fires by the wood burning fireplace in the winter months.

"The pictures don't do this property justice. If you like historic homes, you will love this. The property owners couldn't be easier to work with. They are wonderful."

"This was an amazing property. The host was very kind and easy to work with. We did not have any problems at all with the property, check in or out. Very easy. We were there for a family wedding and it was me and my daughters and their children and it was such a large space that the kids had plenty of space top play and everyone had a bed to sleep in. Very clean with comfortable beds. I cannot say enough about how nice this property was. We had a great time!!"

"Very well appointed home on a gorgeous lake! Our family takes a “lake vacation” every summer for the past 10+ years and this home is at the very top of the list of places we’ve stayed at! Very clean, spacious, with large kitchen and absolutely loaded with everything you’d ever need. The home also has a pontoon available (for extra charge) that we rented for the entire week.
