"The lodge and location was outstanding. Situated on Heron Lakes looking across one of the 6 lakes on site with stunning views. Great location to get to the coast and plenty to do on site with walked, bike trails and of course fishing! Great short break away and will be staying here again. Thanks for a great experience throughout Lisa!"

"Overall a good stay. Needs a bit of TLC to the paintwork. Bathroom is quite small but adequate, & bedroom space was small ie bed against the wall. Stayed in deluxe studio apartment it was nice to sit on chairs instead of bed to watch tv. Nice kitchen area if you want to cook something simple. Bed was comfortable & extra pillows if wanted in wardrobe. Great communication & easy mobile entry via email "

"Myself, my partner Andy and our dog Willow stayed Friday to Sunday at the chickens coop and we had the most relaxing & enjoyable time. Andy enjoyed doing a bit of fishing at the lake, catching a good sized carp, whilst I enjoyed walking around it with the dog. The place itself is just gorgeous, with free roaming chickens etc that you can feed. The stay in the coop was perfect - it was so peaceful and homely. "Very clean lovely polite friendly staff. The beds are cheap spring mattresses so they dig in your back pillows and quilt are lovely though."

"This hotel surpassed my expectations! It was clean, the staff were super friendly and overall a lovely place to be. What added a cherry on the cake was the breakfast! It was so good, I loved the items to choose from and the quality and atmosphere was wonderful. The only negative feedback would be the onsite parking, its great but if only it was half the price or free for hotel guests. Other than that, this place is by far one of the best hotels ive stayed In. Thank you to all the staff for making this stay one of my favorite experiences. "
