"My significant other and I decided to visit his old college (C.I.A.) and we stumbled on this listing and so glad that we did! Every detail was accounted for! We couldn't have been happier with our choice and would definitely stay at this location again. It was absolutely wonderful!"

"The property was very clean and comfortable! Katie was responsive to all our requests. We had a great weekend hiking and the area had great restaurants and the distillery was fun. The house itself was well equipped. I’d like to go back when it is warmer to enjoy the outside amenities like the deck and fire pit.We will be back! "

"The house has a lot of character and the outdoor areas are really peaceful. The owner just needs to resolve the issue with sulfur in the water because the rotten egg smell is too strong to tolerate."

"We really enjoyed this cozy little college next to the lake. It was a perfect place to stay when going to multiple nights of concerts at Bethel Woods. We would love to return some time. The owner is kind and communicative and the entire process was very stress free. Great little place for a couple."

"I don't like to put negative energy out into the Universe BUT... from the steep slippery stairs to the upside down entry door to the lack of water- no water at all in the morning- then the sulfuric water. And then there was the creepy cat picture on the wall. We named the place the S King Lodge after our favorite horror writer. The stairs alone are a red red flag. "Some friends and our pups were looking to spend a nice weekend upstate with our dogs to relax and spend time, and this place was perfect. The location is GREAT! It is near hiking trails, some breweries/orchards and while we didn’t go to dinner, there were restaurants around as well. The house was as described, spacious and had a lot to offer. "Nice and relaxing and we will return! Would include directions on getting into the actual area as its so secluded it rock roads and can be confusing. Also include directions on how to get to the lake/access. But definitely would recommend to anyone. Out back firepit/grill is perfect spot!"

"My husband and I enjoyed two nights in this quiet and cozy cottage. I LOVED spending time on the porch looking out onto the beautiful pond and watching the stars at night. This was a perfect getaway and break from the busy world and look forward to future trips here again."

"Great for my kids and family for options to play outdoors and indoors games together. Loved the coffee bar and the details in the bathrooms with all the little things we could use down to the qtips and things. Really great for our family trip memories!!"

The kitchen, however is small, so it’s something to consider if you have a lot of people wanting to help out with the cooking. The house was clean and tidy. There are a couple of things to consider when staying here. The bathroom on the main level has a small shower, so large people might have a hard time. "We had a wonderful family long weekend at Michele’s beautiful home in the Hudson Valley. We were there to celebrate the birthdays of my husband, son, and grandson. The house was comfortable and well equipped to make meals. Michele the host couldn’t be more responsive. There are many great hikes and wineries close by. This was a 5 star expereince enjoyed by all."
