"Stairs being a problem, first floor lodging was perfect… Lovely view of the river, especially since the trees were denuded all foliage, but winter has its charms too at Sunset. First day we saw two young foxes and two deer, obviously obviously not walking together, but on the hillside just below the patio, so encouraged that wildlife is still more or less disturbed and abundant in spite of heavy development. Everything within walking distance for two old timers and our mini Labradoodle Pepper....

"Overall a nice place for a weekend stay. It was clean and spacious. Pillows were comfortable. Keurig coffee maker and plenty of coffee was available. Missing wine glasses and knives. Cutting board was hiding against the wall under the sink, which we found the morning we were leaving. Roku TV would not play, not even standard live TV."

"The condo is in the perfect location! You can park and walk to everything in Gruene! The weather was rainy and cold so we did not get to enjoy the back porch with a river view but it would be very nice on another weekend. This was our annual girls trip - four 60 year old women. We felt safe there and loved that we didn't have to drive into town and fight for a parking spot. The beds were comfortable and the living room was very cozy. We enjoyed our stay very much."
