Access was a mission with 282 steps (yes we counted) and with the rain we had to wait for it to stop so we could venture out. Also, there is a 300 meter narrow one way road from the main road to the top of the carpark (before the steps). Drivers were good at navigating this windy road. "Fantastic stay at this rustic, cliff-top resort. Staff were exceptional with frequent check in to ensure we were having a good stay. The View restaurant is perched atop the cliff face and forges panoramic views of Kuta and the Indian Ocean. Food, drinks and service all great. "This was the best family home stay. Everything that you need, you can get from the comforts of your room. If you want to adventure out, surf, beaches, and shopping are nearby. The staff were so awesome and accommodating. The rooms were clean and included all the comforts of home, if we wanted to cook at our room. The pool was perfect for the kids. "Nice place. No huge windows in the room but if you’re not staying in too much, it shouldn’t be an issue. The place could use a little more TLC but overall, for the price, it wasn’t bad at all. There aren’t that many restaurants walkable to this place but taking a scooter was super easy. "

"Expedia let us down with this accommodation, the room was filthy, particularly the bathroom and wash hand basin. We were women by rats scurrying about in the ceiling void. We decided to give the breakfast a miss as had no idea where it was served and no staff to ask. "No staff on premises at all to help with problems. Internet worked off and on. A very loud frog was living somewhere in my room. Towels were dirty, Very loud construction going on during daytime hours. No office on premises. We left after one night even though we'd paid for three nights. Oh. And the door locks don't work well. Hard to lock and a neighbor couldn't get theirs back open to get their things out. And no one there to help with any of this. "
