Quite a walk from the Christmas market; but, we had been walking all day, so it wasnt an issue. The train station was across the street so that would be very convenient for some. "The staff were very helpful and the rooms very clean. They seemed to have been recently renovated. The hotel was situated close to the centre of town. However, the area around the hotel seemed dirty and there were many vacant shops etc. "

"Excellent hotel. Check in was unexpectedly helpful and friendly. Room was large and comfortable and clean. Breakfast is expensive but there are no options close to the hotel. Hotel is next to the #50 bus stop which goes directly to the airport and to the train station in Basel. Have fun!"

"Very difficult to get to with a private car since it is in a no traffic zone. Would recommend parking outside the no traffic zone with a small, hotel shuttle van."
